Hi,

If i wanted to try cleaning the stepper motor in a 1999 peugeot 106 to
stop erratic idling, where exactly would I find the stepper motor?

If somebody would be kind enough to give me directions, I would very much
appreciate it.

thanks, keith

Hi, dont know that specifiv layout on that model, but you can find the
stepper motor (more correctly the "idle control valve") as follows:-
remove air intake shroud to throttle body
look into throttle body and observe the bypass orifice which transfers
air upto about 1200 rpm into engine. directly beneath this is the
valve with a 4 way plug on it. Its usually held in to throttle body
with 2 tork screws.
