407 Traffic Information system

Hi all

I've had a 407 with Colour SatNav since March and to date the traffic
information system (the bit that tells you about traffic jams), that works
using TMC, hasn't made a chirp. I've done all I can do on the menus
(including enabling it) and still nothing.

Has anyone had the same problem or does someone actually have it working
properly?

There's no info at all on the net that I can find.

Drive on the auto-routes on the continent, then every five mins -
#bong-didly-bong# - Your navigator's synthised voice will be telling the
state of frances roads. In the end, you'll get so bored of it you'll be glad
that peugeot are to lazy and cheap to run the system in the UK. I urge you
to listen to BBC -5Live (909 & 693 MW) Live travel every 15mins 24/7 (except
when the footie is on)

I have the 407 sat nav jbl system. As your man sez it is not activated
in the uk....

Here is another question tho: The manual says that there are 2 free
audio inputs on this system (RD3) Me dealer checked this out and said
there were no free ports. Can you add anything to this as I would like
to connect me mp3 player to the system
