Hopefully an easy one for the group, my 205 Gti is a buggr for starting
and i've tried chaning most things now, so i'm lead to belive it could
be the temp sensor problem, but i've no idea where this is, the Haynes
makes no mention of it.

Any pointers would be great

Thanks Guys

David

On the end of the head above the gearbox. The bit that the stat fits
in to. Underneath the dizzy, with a green plug going to it.

many thanks for that, Found what matches your description, though is
seemed Blue rather than Green but it was the only plug i could find in
that area.  Shame it looks to be in perfect condition, was hoping for
broken wires or something to make it obvious, hey ho, onto the next
thing then to try and sort the poor starting.

Cheers

Dave
