Hi.

Any way of obtaining radio code for above standard fit without  having to pay Peugeot £24.00?

Too much!! Should be around £15. How about getting in touch with the
garage that sold it from new. They should have the radio code on their
computer system (theoretically!!)

Did that! Actually  got in touch with peugeot dealership I got it from but
they rekon they have no trace.

How old is your car? Post 1998/9ish, you don't need a code for the radio,
it
matches the ECU in the car so a code isn't required. Because of that I
assume you can't transfer the radio to another car.

They can be transferred, but you need to pay a Pug Dealer to recode your car
to accept the new Radio. This applies to both the D9 semi-multiplex and
full-multiplex cars - not the D8 cars.
