:(

Please could anyone give me some expert advice. I have an old 106 x
1.4 disel. She is smokeing alot from the exhaust when driving roun
town. On checking the cooling system, lots of hissing and its run dry
There are no leaks, and the engine oil is clean (no gunk on cap). I ca
however see bubles in the pipes of the cooling system. Are these th
problem, and how do i get rid of them ? Also do you know where i ca
download a free haynes manual for the 106, as keen to try and fix
learn about problems myself.

Thankyou

Mat

If you've lost all the coolant and its not dripping from a bust pipe
somewhere, it could be a leaking head gasket (most likely) or cracked
head. What colour is the smoke? (If it's white, it's steam) Do the
bubbles in the system smell of exhaust?
