when ever I try to start a new topic on a newsgroup I get the following
message

Does anybody know what this means?

Some of the ntl news server names have changed recently
try news.cable.ntlworld.com assuming you are a ntl broadband customer?

I had that with one of my ISPs. They told me to remove the account then
reinstate it. This was of course NBG as the data in the setup was exactly
the same as the old account. I think their news server went tits up for a
while.
