Service light help needed

Hi
Serviced the 306 D now all I want to do is reset the service indicator
(little spanner in next to mileage) has anyone any idea's please don't let
it be as simple as disconnecting battery for a few seconds.

Ignition off. Press the little right hand button on the instrument
panel, switch the ignition on and keep pushing the button down. The
display will count down from 10 to zero. At zero release the button
and switch the ignition off. Then on and the spanner should be gone.
