hi

i have 95 405 glx diesel and have a problem with the ignition cylinder i can
start the car ok bt the spring has broken it can turn the key freely whilst
it is running
i can manage to drive ok if i manage to return the key to its correct
position manually the key fob has a remote for central locking so i am
concerened that it may be a major job to repair new keys etc...any advise

Sorry you will have to replace the whole igniton cyl.i had to do one on
a astra it only took 10 mins but it took hime longer to get the part.
so take care with it and dont remove it untill you have got it all.
