I don't think my mirrors heat up, 2001, 406 rapier hdi estate.

1. does it have heated mirrors ?

2. are they automatic ?

3. whats likely to be wrong ?

In process of having an extension on the house so handbook, haynes etc are
all packed away :-(

Also what is the button on the climate contol with the arrow sweeping up the
screen for ?

Regards Jeff

The mirrors should come on with the heated rear window. You can feel
they work after a couple of minutes.
The button is the control for the recirc motor. Stops the outside air
coming in. Useful when in heavy traffic stuck behind an old diesel
truck!!!

Thanks for that Nigel, I don't think they are working, are they fused
seperately or off the HRW fuse ( can't see both being broken but is a
possibility)presume its just a case of popping the glass out and checking
with a meter ?

Shouldn't think they would be fused seperately. Don't know for sure
but I have never known both to go, so do check the fuses. Does the HRW
work? If so, and I guess they must come off the HRW relay, then it
could quite possibly be a wiring fault. But check the feed and earth
at the glass.
