Your clutch should last a lot more than that ,mine has been in my car 4
years and i have not even ajusted it yet, also do you drive with your
left foot near the pedal??as the weight of your foot can make the clutch
wear out.are you a boy racer and like burning your clutch out and wheel
spinning?
well let hope this NEW clutch will last a very long time, from chris

You don't say what the mileage is on the car, but in my limited experience,
Peugeot clutches last quite a long time. Don't know if the 307 or HDI clutch
is any different, but my 405 clutch was still original at 150k. As you don't
know the history, you will not know how it was driven before you got it. As
Chris says, if the PO used the clutch pedal as a footrest, then you could
expect an early replacement. Don't laugh, my wife did!
By the way, Chris, they have auto-adjusting cables on them, so you won't
need to adjust it.

Actually the 307's use hydraulic clutch control.
