Had a quick search through the archives, but couldn't find this so sorry if
repeated.
'99 V plate 406 GTX. Lost the main key with the remote, just using the other
more manual one.
Now, I know to get a replacement remote key I have to go to the Pug dealer
with Vin & the credit card thing plus about £90.
Same as above for manual key, but less notes as only immobiliser.
Friend with Vectra with immobiliser says he went to a key cutting place &
they did one for him & programmed it for a fraction of dealer price...
Can this work for 406' s ??

If you get hold of a second hand one or new one you can program it
yourself here: http://www.peugeotdiesel.com
Don't think any company does alternative remotes for Pugs though, so
will have to be original, AFAIK.
