I'll start with the latest and most annoying problems:

Blower will not turn off, even when key is out of the ignition. It still
turns up and down just not off, it had a replacement motor a few months ago
when I got the car as the one in it did not work.

At the same time as the blower started staying on the central locking became
erratic, the fob will not work and when I lock it with the key it unlocks
it's self only to lock when I try the handle , let go of the handle and it
unlocks again.

I have to keep charging the battery as it keeps going flat , even before the
blower problem.

The water in diesel light is on almost all the time, I drained some of the
fuel off into a see through container and let it sit for hours...no sign of
any water.

The 'lights on' symbol disappears at times making me double check I have the
lights on.

Older problems that were there when I got the car are alarm and immobilizer
disconnected as the imobilizer kept cutting in mid drive.

Oh and incase it's related the light bulb from the roof light (I forgot what
you call the roof light but it is 3.50am) has been removed to stop the fuse
blowing as the sun roof leaks.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mandie.

Hi I got a 405 and i had problems with my blower we found out it was the
module which is on the back of the unit,
2, check the wire at the bottom of the unit, or replce the filter.it
should help,
3, is the Alternator putting a charge into the batt get this checked out.
Good luck from chris Addlestone Surrey.

Thanks for the advice, the connector at the bottom of the blower is causing
it to stay on.
As for the battery drain it is the engine fan thermostat switch , at the
moment I have to bridge it to stay on when driving,
then pull the wires out when parked up, so a new switch required , but no
more flat battery :-)
