I have a year 2000 406 hdi 110 with the single CD clarion unit in it.
If i rip this out and replace with a standard CD/Radio will the stalk on the
steering wheel still operate the volume/forward/reverse etc of the new unit?
thanks in advance

But presumably you can use the volume control on the stalk?
Have you tried cleaning the lens on the CD laser?

Yes, providing you buy the appropriate Autoleads adaptors.
Have a read of my guide at http://www.nomgle.com/d9headunit - note that if
you don't have the JBL amplifier in your boot, then some of the guide isn't
relevent to you. If you don't understand it, then pay someone who does !
