:-( tha pump of my 406 HDi is packing up, it makes a whining noise, and it leaks fuel. However, it is possible that there are cheaper places to get the high pressure pumps than Peugeot. Try some diesel injection specialists. You can't be wrong, IIRC the lift pump is an immerged type, into the fuel tank.
