All the locks bounce open when trying to lock the car, have shorted this
auto-unlock feature on a 306 before but cant find the unit on the 206. Any
help appreciated

Auto unlock will normall happen if one of the doors (including boot)is
not properly shut.

Presuming that they are, then the fault is normally one of the locks
not telling the control unit it is shut.

On the Cit Xantia, it was normally due to a sticky push button on the
inside.

Might help !!!

Thanks for the pointer

Decided to disconnect the drivers door loom, no joy, then as the boot lock is easier removed the back cover disconnected the boot locking motor and both doors worked with no problems. Cleaned and lubricated the lock with Vaseline as it has a lot of plastic bits reconnected and everything appears to work 48hrs later
