Red overheating light keeps coming on. Not sure why. Rad is o.k. and the anti-freeze/water is up to the max line in the measure/overflow/extra bottle thingy .. so I know that there is enuff coolant in there. Any other obvious things to check? Am off to get a Haynes manual tomorrow!! Could the temp sensor be shot to sh.t? Where do I look? TA should also say that the fan is coming on o.k. > Red overheating light keeps coming on. Where do I look? > TA Does the fan thermostat nicely (i.e. switch on and off every 30 seconds), or does it just stay on? If it stays on, (with the ac off if you have it) it would indicate the system really can't get the heat out. No red warning light. Very hot air coming from heating system blower.... who says that cars are only mechanical and can't be reasoned with??? Will obviously need to check again if problems.
