Hi People,

For a number of years now my p 206 glx alarm intermittently goes off for no
apparent reason. Today it went off 3 times in an hour , and may not now go
off for months??

Any ideas ?

This is a known fault and there is a recall for it. Check with your
dealer and take both ignition keys and transponder code card. They
will need to do a BSI download. Free of charge.

Hi thanks for this mate, but what is a transponder code card?

It's a credit card sized piece of plastic, mainly blue with the
Peugeot logo on it and a rub-out strip with 4 numbers or letters or a
combination of the two. This is the transponder code and they will
need it to do a BSI download. Best to take it with you for any problem
you may have. Will save a lot of time. If you don't have it, the
dealer can get it (from the same place they get radio codes and key
codes) and will charge you around £15. The dealer does get charged as
well!!
