I own a late 2004 Model Peugeot 407and have owned it since new. When
driving it recently on the motorway, the engine seemed to stall and I
lost all power. I managed to coast safely to a stop, luckily due to
not much on the road, however was unable to start it again.
The car has been in the local Peugeot dealership since and they have of
yet not diagnosed the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem, or know what could be causing this?
Thanks
Daz

Hi Daz,
Initially I would have said faulty spark lead...but I am sure the
dealership would have found a problem like that by now. Sounds like
something ignition related.

The OP hasn't actually said whether it is petrol or diesel, or indeed
anything other than that it is a 407.

Peugeot have managed to sort out the issue - took them a couple of days
though. It was some kind of engine management problem. Cheers anyway
