dos anybody know of any companys out there that do cheap insurance on
pugs?

Not on Pugs specifically, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the good
prices we got through The Post Office for my 406 and my wife's 306. You
can get an online quote at http://www.postoffice.co.uk , otherwise, the
other lot might "quote you happy".

I have tryed so many companys out there for insurance and found that
Budget was the best i have so far.i have just found out that it runs
out on monday 3rd july. so i will be covered by then.c/cards are very
good.

I saved £90 on my insurance from Bell (part of Admiral). They also gave me
free protected no claims bonus. I looked at confused.com, but they only
saved me around £20 compared to moneysupermarket.com

I'd highly recommend this site.
