Hi Mike
For a Bendix system, the wheel sensors' resistance should be 1000-1400 ohms.
You can measure the sensors by unplugging the connection to the wiring
harness. The front sensors gap is adjustable, the rear sensors' is not
adjustable.
As Bob said, the wheel sensors are the most likely source of your trouble.
Note that the ABS ECU stores errors and the codes can be read.
If the sensors are OK, you might try disconnecting the battery for about 15
minutes, to reset the ECU. If the error resurfaces, get someone to read the
codes!

On a 405 my first action was to pull off and then reconnect one by one
the connections at the unit inside the engine bay on the driver's side
wing. This cured it. Wherever the unit is I would try the simplest
option first...
