If anyone can help with this problem it would be a great help

I have a peugeot 607 se with exactly the same problem when I first had the
car the fader option was there and all speakers worked perfectly I noticed it
after it had a new battery fitted and now has no fader option and only works
from the front speakers
my local peugeot garage has looked for the problem to no avail what chance
have we got when a peugeot main dealer can't sort it

Please help
