Usually the key revoves in the lock because the end is worn, and also
the lock is usually worn too. You need a new lock and key. Choices are
a complete lock set, or a door set. The door set you can get made to
your key number but will take 3 weeks or so to get, or a random key
but you will then have a key for the door and another for the
ignition.

Also does this when its dried out....try freeing it up with some WD40. It
worked on mine.
