Odd Noises

There have been a lot of problems on here with strange noises from cars.

It reminded me of an extract I once read from the drivers manual for the
Model T Ford.   It said:

"If as you travel along your ears are assailed by a sound as of church
bells, do not worry.   It is merely stones that have entered the rear axle
casing."

And you thought Peugeots were odd.

There's another good bit about starting it.   I'll add it if anyone is
interested.
