I have got a Peugeot 406 lx hdi 2002 model and the clutch pedal is
occasionally sticking down when pressed. It does not do this all of the
time only once or twice a week. The only way to lift it back up again
is to put your foot underneath it and lift it back up. I have looked
for somwhere to oil or grease the pedal but I cannot see anything
obvious. Please help   !!!!!!

You might have to remove the pedal system and oil it up along the
shaft.unless you can spray wd40 in there some place.

Just as a "Long-Shot", check that it is not fouling the carpet!!
