hello, i am in the process of replacing my front brake piston assembly
on a peugeot 205. The whole assembly is badly siezed, I am trying to
remove the bolts which secure the piston assembly to the wheel strut
and they will not budge. I am using the correct socket with 3 foot bar,
but i have restricted access as I am attempting this while the car is
jacked up and supported on bricks. I am getting nowhere any tips would
be much appreciated. It crossed my mind to heat it up with a blow torch
but am not sure if this is a good idea or not.

Yes,
try warming the bolt ,then allow the heat to travel through to the
threads,,allow to cool and spray with WD40 or something like it,, try NOT to
get it red hot,,,,,,
repeat this 2-3 times and this should do the trick,
