Out of the blue my radio has began to bleep over the music Ive been
told ecu has dropped the radio
and it needs to go to the dealer to be re programmed into the ecu, but
ive also heard the bsi unit is resposiable as this works all the gagets
in the car Can this problem be sorted without paying the main dealer
The radio as been in the 2001 406 from new and matches the VIN

I would doubt it, looks like a main dealer job if its the BSI acting
up, have you tried stopping the car turning off the ignition off then
on again while the radio is still switched on, this stopped mine
bleeping on two occasions.
