Hi, one of my friends has a 2004 2.0hdi136 saloon and has had nothing but
trouble with it...
1. several occasions - depolution system
2. Both front ball joints failed below 60k miles
3. Car decided to dump all the engine oil through the turbo / Egr system?
Peugeot just swapped the turbo and filled it with oil again! Surely this
would have meant a new engine...?
4. Clutch failed below 70k miles
5. All of the electrics have become faulty. Lights, indicators & brake lamps
work when they please with car reporting bulb faults.
This car has had more than £5000 in waranty claims, dealer won't take car
back as thay say its not the car they supplied with having had all the new
parts!
Would love to hear if anyone else has had similar probs.

That's bollocks. Citizen's Advice Bureau should help there.

Actually it sounds like typical '07 series in all ranges. Earlier models
seem to be basically sound by comparison. Peugeot seem to have totally
lost it in the last few years.
