405 petrol no go will not turn over, has had new batt all lights are o.k
when he turns the key. he get nothing,anybody got any ideas.

Check the connections to the battery and to the starter motor.

Sounds as if the immobiliser on the alarm is not working properly.
If it were the battery connections, then the lights would dim when you try
the starter.

Ah yes I see what you mean. If the battery connections were duff yes. If the
starter motor connections were faulty though... The immobiliser ideas a good
one.
