Hi all,
I have recently purchased a 1998 406 coupe and the radio has packed in.
The dealer reckons I haven't got a hope of finding a 2nd hand
replacement. Anyone know if this is accurate?
Or would I be as well to fit a new radio altogether? I'm told I will
lose the steering wheel controls as a result..
Thanks,
Trol

The dealer would say that, wouldn't do his profit margins any good to say
anything else.
Do a search on Ebay (uk) for 406 radio and you will find several
possibilities. Best to check which model you have fitted first.
Just make sure you get the security code with it.
You can also fit other radios and get an interface box which will still
enable the steering wheel controls. Any car audio specialist would be able
to help with this.

Thanks a million Brian1 I searched eBay and got a positive response and
have also sourced a radio from a breaker's yard! So hopefully it'll
work out!
Thanks again,
Trol
