pug 306 td help

hi can any one help ive have just recently bought a 306 td the turbo
works but at nearly 3000 revs the turbo sounds like you have turned
the heater on in the car and i dont feel im getting the full turbo any
advise would be really gratefull

Check the intercooler pipes & / or intercooler. One of them could be cracked
or dismantled.
From memory, on these engines (XUD9TE series) the max boost is given @ 3k
RPM, hence the loud noise you're hearing.
