406 exhaust

hi  i have had several exhausts replaced due to the baffles blowing in
the rear box, i`ve been told that my fuel may be running to rich, how
can i adjust this, i`m no machanic so please reply in a simple way,
treat me as i`m thick, thanks :?

Buy higher octane fuel.
