The haynes manual says there is no adjustment on the clutch cable - but the

Any one know how to adjust an auto adjust clutch cable?
Any one understand how it works?
Thanks

Just a thought.   If the cable is self adjusting could this not mean that
the clutch has worn to the limit of that self adjustment?

The auto adjust cable is notoriously unreliable on the 306.
I got through two on my last 306 and one early in the life of my current
306.
It's possible there may be nothing wrong with the clutch but the auto-adjust
thingy is worn out.
