Peugeot 206D Coolant

When the handbook for a 206D (2000 X reg) says to use the manufacturers
recommended coolant (which is weird because Peugeot is presumably the
manufacturer of the manual and the car, so why not say what coolant?)) this
would be water wouldn't it? Naturally with antifreeze added in Winter.

Use antifreeze all year round. It also has anti rusting properties.

Hi, You can get the correct coolant from a Peugeot dealer, from memory its
not a lot of money. Its important to use the right stuff as it contains a
lubricant for the water pump. It's supplied in 1 ltr and 5 ltr containers.
