The engine starts first turn of the key when cold,buy when the weather is warm and the engine is hot it is very difficult to start. Any ideas I would be most grateful ? Unlikely on an HDI but it could be the diesel pump ;o) Worth getting the filters checked because, if the lift pump in the tank is starting to go, it is cheaper the earlier you catch it. If it's going there will be signs of metal filings in the filter. If it's going > there will be signs of metal filings in the filter. That depends on whether it is a Bosch or Siemens injection system. The Siemens variety doesn't have the lift pump in the tank. I found alt.autos.citroen on the BT server. Maybe yours doesn't carry it. SignatureKeith Willcocks (If you can't laugh at life, it ain't worth living!) Hi Let your injectors be tested.
