Can anybody clear a matter up for me when u remove the rad cap say on a pug 405 and it looks rusty water what is wrong withy it?? engine runs very well no oil being used or water i have been asked this nso many times and dont know what to say as i have never come a cross it before. thanks from chris. There are one or two ferrous components in the cooling system. Anti freeze mix can become acidic after a while and start eating through such parts. When the rusty water starts to show, a flush through and fresh antifreeze mix every few years is a good idea. Bob |
