I have a Peugeot 306 D Turbo 1997 and around every few weeks (only happened
twice) the low coolant level light comes on the dash. I have only done 1000
miles since i got the car and its happened twice. At first i thought the
level might be a bit low so i topped it up, last night the indicator come on
again. I only refilled it around 3 weeks ago or 500miles. The temprature
reads around 80c on the dash.

Is this Normal or any ideas please.

Cheers Mark

Is the coolant low again?
If yes, you have a leak.
If no, you have a faulty switch.

If you have a leak, find and fix it BEFORE you run low on a journey and
overheat, and blow the head gasket a common and expensive problem.

The level dosent look that low to me, the light goes off quick sometimes.
Maybe its a faulty sensor.
