The central locking works fine but the left back door will not open. If I
repeatedly hit the door where the lock is while at the same time activate
the key to open, I can (after many tries) get it to open. It will then work
perfectly for a day or so.
I opened it up and could see no problem.
Can anyone help?

Had the same problem with mine, first with one rear lock which was replaced
(not cheap ?80) for the MOT (you have to be able to get in all doors). The
second time affected the opposite rear door. It did free after a time. I
identified the fault as being caused by the dead lock facility so I nolonger
use this facility.
Incidentally the lock is fully made of plastic and has to be broken to
remove if the lock will not open. The lock is not possible to be repaired as
it is assembled as a heat welded plastic enclosure.
