I had to have the head gasket replaced at 62,000 miles, which was bad
enough, but the garage disconnected the battery and so the code kicked in.
Somebody'd written the keycode in one of the car's manuals, but having tried
it 3 times without success, the thing's locked and i haven't got the
foggiest what to do next. I'm sure i've read the number properly, so i don't
think even when it unlocks it'll take it a 4th time. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Sorry to say, it sounds like a ?25 job at a dealer, where you present
your V90 to prove vehicle ownership and then they unlock it for you. It's a
'ramp' - a crappy way to make money IMHO, but what do I know?

One thing you could try for free advice, before forking out yet more
cash, is the Peugeot Owner's Club - http://www.peugeot.co.uk/ - click on
'Owner Services ... My Peugeot' and see what you can get out of them.
Otherwise, sue the grease monkeys who dropped the radio code, for being so
incompetent - I would, becaue they should know better if they're proper
Peugeot-trained mechanics (fat chance) :o)

Cheers,

Phil
