Joe: me amigo, my buddy, my pal.
Here I disagree.. The 4.3 Chevy V6 is a better engine then the buick or
chevy 3.8. Not only does it have the same bore and stroke as a Chevy 350. It
also shares internials. V6 wises it's the bullet 'proof" GM V6 (V-sick).
A 4.3 V6 can also be bored and storked to a streetable 305 CID!
Yet if I had a 80 Ely body... I would drop my 383 in it, and have a G
body that hauled a.s, and nothing but a.s.

4.3 vin Z, 3.8 229 vin K or 9 Chevy, all of the same genre. All oil burning
clacking "rough" engines. Chevy makes the "loosest" engines of all the
divisions (and the most "troublesome").
Fortunately, most of the problems are easily fixed.
