There used to be a guy that hung out on www.thirdgen.org that had a 427 in a thirdgen. He had a web page that listed what had to be done to get one in. He mentions headers in there. A while back there was a guy that had a 455 in an '82 T/a... Aint no way your gonna get a T-5 to live behind a 427, or any other big block. The torque at part throttle at low RPM's will be enough to destory the input shaft. Fitting a Big Block in to a third gen is not for the novius. Nor is it inexpensive. So unless you plan on shelling out big bucks to pay someone to do it, leave the pipe dream behind. The publisher is HP Books the books number is 1029 and the author is David Vizard. If you want to troll, that's fine just realize that the nice people here won't put up with it for long.
