o2 sensor?

service engine light is on and code for o2 sensor appeared......is it hard to change the o2 sensor yourself........how long would it take

It is usually pretty easy to change one.  Be sure to get the correct
type (heated or non heated etc. with the correct wiring).  Sometimes
they want to stick but the usual methods for freeing threaded parts in
a high heat area should work.

If you change it, be sure to use a lot of "Never Seize" on the threads, it
will make it much easier to take it out the next time. The only difficult
part about changing the sensor is that they tend to rust in place.

you'll of course need an O2 sensor socket to fit the style/type of
sensor in your vehicle ... they have a slot in the side for the wiring
