The search means, punch it into the computer, and find out if another dealer
still has one showing in stock.
I did the same thing recently, and located over 300 of what I was looking
for at other dealers, and with a couple of phone calls, had exactly what I
was looking for.

110% correct. I own a ton of NOS parts obtained in this fashion.
If the dealer won't search, you have a stupid dealer. End of story. It can be
done with 3 seconds of work on a computer.
