It could be a cold solder (sp) joint that is out. My 90 olds had kind of the
same problem. Hell, since it's already broken, run a soldering iron, and
some solder over the solder points, and see what happens. Just be careful.

Yes, that's a good thought. Cold solder joints are relatively easy to
correct if one can get good access to them with a small iron. If it quits
raining anytime soon I'll start taking things apart to get to the instrument
cluster. Thanks for your input.

If you don't want to repair it like I explained in your previous post, you
could just pull the bulb.
