Battery Code

Can anyone tell me what the original battery code for a 79 Trans Am is
please? (with the 403) and if possible whats the minumum cold crank amp i
should be looking for on a replacement?

I Can't answer the first question, but for the second one I wouldn't
spec anything less than 650 CCA, irregardless if AC's still in the
picture. And if you live where the winters are a bitch, maybe you'd
want a higher number. Or a heated garage,

yes

never needed one yet. Never trouble starting up to -29 F

garages are for cars?  Where would I put all my stuff w/o it? LOL
