Got spark when it won't start, does the fuel spray from the injectors, basic
diagnostics here?

I owned a Pontiac 6000 a few years ago.  I had a running problem that turned
out to be a sensor on the back of the engine ( next to the fire wall).  It
has a probe that sticks into to the engine block to pick up engine rotation.
I forget it's proper name.  This could be the problem.  After I sold the car
the new owner also replaced the same part.  The upper motor mount (dog Bone)
needs to be removed and rock the engine forward to gain access to replace
it.  I hope this helps.  My 6000 was probably the best car I owned.  I put
178,000 miles on it.  The next owner had over 235,000 when he sold it.
