I have a 94 grandam that keeps overheating but the water in the holding
tank is cold. The temp shows to be over 220 yet there is no heat from the
heater. The thermostat, water pump, heater core, heads are all new. what
could be wrong? Help

At this point I am not sure of anything This one has the thermostat on the
lower hose on the water pump, which way is right?

on the thermostat it may say "this side towards engine"  lastly as the
previous email.  just turn it around and it will fix your problem

That is the way we did it. Is it possible that the head gasket is on wrong?

head haskets usually are marked front or this side up. putting them on
backward would cut down on flow.

be sure the serpentine belt is on correctly . worked onseveral that
the belt was turning the waterpump backwards.
