Is there a kit or OEM part available for the Matrix/Vibe to add an
assist handel to the a-pillar (like on SUVs)?  Has anyone done this and
is there any danger(structural comprimise) in modifying the a-pilars?
Thanks

If your Matrix/Vibe has side curtain air bags, I would not recommend trying
to add assist handles as they can interfere with deployment.  On the other
hand, there is probably a provision for a handle or assist grip on the
ceiling over the door.
