im replacing the rear brake shoes on my 84 parisienne wagon. The problem
is, i've never changed rear brakes before and i know they are completely
different from the front. Is there any diagrams or possibly step by step
instructions online? i havent been able to find anything, but was hoping
someone here might know of something i dont. Any help is very greatly
appreciated. Thanks

Do one side at a time for reference, try autozone.com/repairinfo also.

normally unless broken the old springs can be used. The key to doing drum
brakes is to do one side at a time. The other side is a good guideline to
rebuilding the side you are taking apart. If you have a digital camera take
a picture of it before you disassemble the brakes.

thanks les, the digital camera thing is a good idea, i would have never
thought to do that. My brain looks for the hardest way to do things!

well I am lazy and always find the quickest way to do stuff. Besides I am
getting old and can't remember a damn thing after a few minutes. Just ask my
wife she will tell you lol.
