The venerable 3.8 was installed in Pontiac Trans Sports up until 1995.
In 1996 they went to the 3.4
What have been the experiences with this engine (push rod, not the
twin cam). They seem to be the "mileage leader" in American mini-vans.
The frame on my '94 is getting pretty soft, and I'd like to stay with
the "plastic vantastic" body - which limits me to 1996 at the newest.
With 1996 also being OBD2, there are some minor advantages.

I just don't want to be getting into engine grief if there are known
serious issues.
