How can I disable the door chime that sounds every time you open the door?
I also do not like the chime when I start the car, or when a dashboard
indicator light comes on. I basically want a silent car without the annoying
dinging and chiming. Any ideas? Where is the speaker at?
Thanks for any help,
-Chris

Depends on the year. Older cars just had a little speaker, while some newer
ones have the chimes routed through the stereo. By the way, including the
year of your car is a must if you want proper information.

Hmm. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it may be built into the radio on that
car, seeing how that's when the new Grand Am style came out. I know it's
like that on a friends '01.
